National Hibiscus Day

Haiti 5 of dominican republic

Yesterday was celebrated as National Hibiscus Day and my really good friend Guy Antoine “I call him uncle” did a great job in putting together a facebook page to celebrate not just this beautiful flower but also it’s complexity. The Hibiscus is the national flower of both The Bahamas and Haiti and is used in many different ways. I thought that I should share with you the beautiful pictures from around the world that was posted yesterday. While you browse through the pictures please take the time to  let Ton Guy know that he is doing a great job and that his favourite niece sent you and if you happen to like some of the stories that I share then please let him know because it is he who got me into the art of great storytelling through blogging.

Hope you enjoy all the pictures.

Here’s the link to the facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/hibiscusday?fref=ts
