Listen, if you have never had fresh papaya “or par paws as the British would say” you are seriously missing out. It is not only delicious but it is healthy and simply good. Growing up in the Caribbean papayas and other tropical fruits were as common corn flakes on the table. We used papaya every which way we knew how. We made papaya salad, papaya smoothie, papaya leaf tea and also steamed it with other vegetables which made a great meal. Yes, yes it is finger licking good. This evening after grocery shopping I just sliced one up and ate it and had to stop for a moment and thank God that He created papayas for me to enjoy. I’m sure He heard that prayer of thankfulness.
